Project Coordinator

OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR PROJECT COORDINATORS

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day implementation of enterprise software solutions, delivering on time and on budget
  • Operational management of the project (planning and organizational aspects)
  • Ensure proper project management processes are in use throughout the project lifecycle
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality project deliverables (including internal validation and testing)

About you

  • Software Implementation project experience
  • Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Assisting with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
  • Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
  • Managing project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope statement, as directed by the project manager.
  • Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks such as billing and bookkeeping.
  • Support team members when implementing risk management strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • A proven track record for project planning, executing, controlling and closing
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated and highly organized with solid problem-solving skills
  • Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with clients/partners
  • Leadership: Models good leadership while mentoring others to develop as leaders and develop as a team; manages the process of innovative change.
  • Teamwork: Motivates the team to work efficiently together and acknowledges each team member’s contributions while celebrating team success. This includes working with team members in remote offices or through virtual environments.

Senior Software Developer

Our client is looking for 5 software developers

Our client is opening up an office in Africa (the final location of that office is still not set) and they are looking to build the local teams that will work on their projects.


The Ubuntu OS App Dev team is looking for  amazing developers to work on their applications development team.


This is a new line of business, and they are developing a new Operating system (based on Linux) for their products. They have also included other products that are included in the delivery for this team.


This position requires Full-time contractors for 12 to 18 months, and potentially 2 years, to then convert the talents to Full-time employees, to be relocated where they set the Homebase for the office. Those talents that can’t relocate will join the team in order to help build the team and train other talents to fill the leadership gaps when they leave. It’s possible to stay working remotely, but it’s something that has to be checked later.


The talents will work with VDIs in their AWS Workspace. Regular background checks are required for this position.


Requirements

Coding, designing, application management, troubleshooting, monitoring updates and possible security threats, and providing end-user support. 

Strong Computer Science, be ability to code securely and efficiently and be able to deliver applications and language.


They should have experience  building OS


Interview process with the client:

1 hour technical/cultural interview with team leaders and hiring manager.


Engagement/Contract Type:

Full-time contractor (chances to move to Full-time Employee after two years or less)


Must have skills

  •  - 5 Years of LINUX experience
  •  - Experience building Debian (deb) packages
  •  - Experience setting up custom apt repositories
  •  - Experience maintaining a git forked repository, collaborating with the source
  •  - Deep familiarity with shell scripting and the main command-line tools
  •  - Experience with low-level (C or similar) development
  •  - Experience with at least one of the popular scripting languages (perl, python, ruby)
  •  - Experience with large scale software (OS and/or apps) testing automation infrastructure under Unix
  •  - Broad familiarity with the computing environment, from kernels to desktop environments to system services
  •  - C/C++


Nice to have skills

PMP/PRINCE2 Certification
